My Last Spring Break
Spring Break. Those words sounded so nice a few months ago when my girlfriends and I were thinking about all the exciting places we could visit during this famous week of partying. Unfortunately, plans fell through and I was unable to get off work. My spring break was spent working, catching up on some much needed sleep, and spending time with my friends. It wasn't the endless nights of partying like my previous breaks, but I definitely enjoyed it. I worked the night of the University of Louisville vs. West Virginia University game. I am from WV, and as much as I would have liked to see the Mountaineers take the win, I was happy that the Cards did. March Madness has just begun, and everyone is getting their brackets ready for the tournaments. I'm cheering for the Cardinals, who would you like to see in the Final Four? Add your comments about March Madness!
A Much Needed Uneventful Spring Break
Hey folks! Spring Break 2007 for me was one of the most uneventful spring breaks in history. I took off from work, refused to do anything remotely related to school, and isolated myself in my ting town of Lebanon. As a junior my spare time seems far and few between so I took advantage of the opportunity and allowed myself to enjoy boredom for the first time in a long time. Sounds awful doesn't it? Well, to tell you the truth it was one of the best spring breaks I've had. The weather was beautiful for the most part and I woke up every morning and said "what am I GOING TO DO TODAY?" It was so exciting not having a jam packed schedule from the time I woke up to the time I went to bed. My monotonous days of interning, racing to class, racing to work, and then racing back to the library to study had to take some time off before I permanently took off from them. So that was my spring break: relaxing, much needed, and boring!
Hey folks, how's it going? My name is Libby and I'm about to graduate from Bellarmine with a communication degree. I'm originally from West Virginia, but I consider Louisville my home these days. It's a great city with so much to do, see, and experience! I work a lot and have an internship, but when I have free time I go out on the town with my girlfriends. Heather, Allie, and I will try to keep you posted on the fun stuff to do in and around Louisville, so keep us in mind when someone asks, "what do you wanna do tonight?"
